With the BBC Children in Need appeal night set to air on Friday, November 18, Excell Supply is excited to announce that it will be completing a sponsored ramble in the coming weeks.

BBC Countryfile organises a series of charity rambles for Children in Need and now the Excell team will be getting ramble ready in preparation for its own event in the next couple of weeks.

Team members of Excell, who supply education personnel across North Wales, Cheshire and The Wirral, will be made up of Lyndsay, Mike, Becca and Jack, along with dogs Ziggy and Tango.

The route will see them walk approximately eight miles across the Flintshire countryside, stopping in Ysgol Cae’r Nant and Ewloe Green primary along the way for some much needed refreshments and rest.

A journey to make a difference

Company director Lyndsay Andrews said: “Children in Need is a charity we have enjoyed supporting as a team down the years with bakes, bucket collections and onesie wearing but we always look forward to taking on something more challenging. We have planned out our route, recruited our ramblers from the office and will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for Friday 18!”

Children in Need considers non-profit organisations which help those under 18-years-old who are dealing with things such as illness, distress, abuse or neglect any kind of disability, behavioural or psychological difficulties, as well as those living in poverty or situations of deprivation.

Excell Supply’s JustGiving page is now up and running via its socials and website here – any donations will be gladly received and will make a huge difference to the lives of young people in the country.

On the day, there’ll be live updates with the team’s progress along the route so be sure to follow along on social media from 9am.
