Admin support

We are seeking to recruit an admin support assistant (temporary maternity cover).

We are looking for a Secretary to provide administrative support with tasks as part of the Support for Learning department. This post is a Maternity Cover position starting in September 2024 and is expected to run for most of the academic year 2024-2025. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week for 33 term time weeks plus 3 out of term weeks (36 weeks total).

The ideal candidate should be experienced in the administration of a busy SENCO department and should be experienced in:

Processing Education and Health Care Plans

Assessment data

Creating examination rotas

Administration of screening software

Competent in Excel and Word.

The post holder will provide administrative support to the Head of Learning Support (SENCO) and the specialist teachers.

The post holder will be confident in:

Literacy, numeracy and written skills

Have a strong commitment to a high standard of student care and

Well organised and a good problem solver

Have a calm and reassuring demeanour that will enable pupils to feel confident and supported.
