De-escalation training

This engaging and practical session focuses on developing the skills and confidence to de-escalate challenging situations calmly, safely, and respectfully, providing a toolkit of strategies to help prevent conflict and maintain positive relationships with pupils.

By the end of the session, staff will have a clearer understanding of how to respond to challenging situations with confidence and empathy, helping to create a calmer, safer, and more positive learning environment for all.

This session is ideal for all teaching, support, and pastoral staff who work directly with pupils and want to strengthen their confidence in managing behaviour constructively and compassionately.
