ALN Teaching Assistant – £12.82 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference in students’ lives.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ALN.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Support students with social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
  • Monitor and record student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with ALN, SEN, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs is desirable.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and understanding approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
