Job Details:
ALN Teaching Assistant – £12.82 per hour
Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference in students’ lives.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ALN.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
- Support students with social and emotional development.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
- Monitor and record student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with ALN, SEN, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs is desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and understanding approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
