Position: Cover Supervisor

Pay: £85-£110 per day

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across the Denbigh area. In this role, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged with their learning and maintain classroom standards.
This position is ideal for recent graduates considering a teaching career, experienced professionals seeking flexibility, or individuals with a background in working with young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work.
- Create a calm and productive classroom atmosphere, managing behaviour effectively.
- Support students with their learning and respond to general questions.
- Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence in managing a classroom environment.
- Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
- A positive and adaptable attitude.
- A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
