The Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of ICT to lead our clients digital transformation. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an ICT strategy that supports our unique educational needs while ensuring the safety and security of our digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking ICT strategy aligned with our school’s vision and values.
• System Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and safeguarding of all ICT systems and digital assets.
• Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with teaching staff to seamlessly integrate technology into the curriculum, tailoring approaches to support pupils with ASD and ADHD.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the ICT team, ensuring ongoing professional development and effective support.
• Vendor Collaboration: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to secure state-of-the-art technology solutions.
• Cybersecurity & Safeguarding: Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and data protection regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review ICT processes to drive efficiency and innovation across the school.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven leadership experience in an ICT role within an educational setting, with a preference for SEND environments.
• Strong understanding of the unique technological and educational needs of pupils with ASD and ADHD.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant ICT qualifications (e.g., degree in ICT/Computer Science or equivalent) and professional certifications.
