Science Teacher

Contract Type: Temporary, Term Time Only
Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm
Pay rate: £141.72 to £150.00

DBS Check Required: Yes (can be gained via Excell Supply if necessary)

Excell Supply are working with a secondary school in Newtown and are currently recruiting for a science teacher for a full-time post.

To be considered for this role you would need to have:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS)
• Right to work in the UK.
• NQTs welcome

• Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following: Chemistry, Physics and Biology Teacher

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• The delivery of KS3 and KS4 and KS5 curriculum
• Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally
• We are looking for the following qualities in applicants:
• Possess an excellent subject knowledge
• Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum
• Maintain exceptional classroom practice
• Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
• Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
• Ideally Worked with children in the 5 years
• Right to work in the UK.
