Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, working across schools in the Conwy area.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and social development.
  • Create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in a school or similar setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and positive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Care Workers, Support Workers, and those with transferable experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
