About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Denbigh. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in various school settings while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Support classroom activities to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective learning.
- Adapt to different school environments and SEN requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting children’s development.
- The ability to manage challenging behavior calmly and effectively.
- A flexible and proactive attitude to meet the needs of different schools and pupils.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
