About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in schools across Rhyl. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning activities.
- Promote inclusion and encourage participation in classroom activities.
- Support students with emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide personal care support where necessary.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN or additional learning needs is highly desirable.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school environments.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
