About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supply team. This role offers flexibility and the chance to support pupils in a variety of educational settings, helping them to thrive and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including one-to-one and small group assistance.
- Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with their emotional, social, and academic development.
- Help with classroom preparation and organization of learning resources.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress to the teacher and SENCo.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to meet the individual needs of pupils.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
