SEND Teaching Assistant – Conwy
We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in schools within Conwy and the surrounding area.
This role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the classroom, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone patient, caring, and passionate about supporting children in education.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with SEND within the classroom
- Providing classroom and 1:1 support where required
- Encouraging confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Working closely with teachers and school staff to support learning and development
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or SEND is desirable
- A calm, positive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
