Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Colwyn Bay
Pay Rate: £11.44 – £12.82 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Colwyn Bay. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students in their learning and development, both in and outside the classroom, working closely with the teaching staff to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning in a variety of subjects
- Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources
- Provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
- DBS check required (we can assist with this if needed)
