Welsh ALN Teaching Assistant – Bangor
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Welsh speaking ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within schools across and the surrounding area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) while promoting a positive and inclusive Welsh-medium learning environment.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs within the classroom
- Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support
- Encouraging confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Supporting pupils through both Welsh and English where appropriate
Requirements
- Fluency in Welsh and English
- Previous experience working with children or ALN is desirable
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
