Job Title: Welsh-Speaking Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Mold
Salary: Up to £23,000 per year
Hours: 30 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Primary Teaching Assistant to support two pupils with their educational development. This is a rewarding role based in a welcoming primary school in Mold, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the students you work with.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to two pupils in their learning journey, ensuring they have the help they need to succeed
- Assist with classroom activities, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with any additional learning needs, including behavioural, emotional, and academic challenges
- Help with the delivery of Welsh language lessons and encourage language immersion in a classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the pupils’ needs are met
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the teachers
Requirements:
- Fluent in Welsh (written and spoken)
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is desirable
- Passion for supporting children’s education and well-being
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- DBS check required (we can assist with this if needed)
