About the Role:
Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting children’s learning? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our supply team. This role provides flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, helping pupils achieve their full potential through the medium of Welsh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons in Welsh.
- Assist pupils with their learning activities, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need extra assistance.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation, including setting up learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and provide feedback on student progress to the teacher.
What We Are Looking For:
- Fluency in Welsh is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not required.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
