Lyndsay popped into Ysgol Esgob Morgan of St Asaph this morning to congratulate the school on their success at this year’s Daily Post School Awards. Excell Supply sponsored the event which took place on Monday 30th July 2014 at Bangor University.
Miss Katie Thomas who is a teaching assistant at the junior school took the title of, “School Support Staff of the Year”. Mr Peter Ellis, an employee at Esgob Morgan was also nominated for this award.
The triumphant school additionally left the ceremony with the award, “Class of the Year” which went to Year 5. Class teacher Mr Richard Hatwood said, “I’m made up for my class who continue to achieve in many different ways and it is so nice to be recognised”.
Lyndsay said, “It is lovely to see a school we have worked closely with for a number of years win the two awards standing out from an abundance of nominations. Keep up the hard work Esgob”!
