New ipads for pupils at Ewloe Green!
Ewloe Green Primary School received a visit from Lyndsay & Bronwen on Friday with a cheque for £500 to buy two new ipads.
Head teacher Mrs Ruth Dyas recently ran an Application Letter Writing Workshop exclusively for Excell to give our teachers, particularly those who are newly qualified an insight into what schools are looking for when recruiting and what will make them stand out in the all important supporting letter of a job application.
The feedback from Excell candidates was that the workshop was invaluable and an experience a supply teacher does not usually acquire so as a huge thank you to Mrs Dyas Excell gratified to buy the needed ipads for the school.
MD Lyndsay said, “Schools are utilising the use of ipads increasingly more in the classroom but such technology is a big expense for any school so we are delighted to be able to help out as a thank you to Mrs Dyas for taking the time to work with our candidate as they develop in their careers”.
The Year 4 pupils seen in the photo told Bronwen, “We love using ipads in class as it makes learning fun”. Mrs Dyas added, “Thankyou to Excell for enabling us to buy the ipads and we can continue encouraging interactive learning through current technologies, something that would usually be too expensive for the school”.
As Wales’s fastest growing education specialist, Excell strongly believe in giving back to the local community and we continue to work intently with all of our schools.
