How it works
SEND staffing, arranged properly
Good SEND staffing is not a numbers exercise. A pupil with an EHCP, a child working through a period of emotional dysregulation and a class needing structured phonics intervention all need something different from the adult in the room, so we start with the pupil and the provision rather than a list of available names.
When you contact us we ask about the setting, the year group, the needs in the room and the strategies already in place — PECS, Makaton, visual timetables, a de-escalation plan, personal care routines. We then put forward practitioners who have genuinely worked in comparable provisions, and we tell you honestly when we do not have the right person rather than sending someone who will struggle.
Every candidate we place in a specialist setting is compliance-checked, references-verified and offered accredited Team Teach training through our own experienced trainers. Our team includes former SENDCOs, SLT members and safeguarding leads, so the person taking your call understands what a difficult SEND staffing week actually feels like.
