Celebrate the life of someone you love with an everlasting Welsh Poppy.
Excell Supply take great pride in sponsoring this amazing installation for Nightingale House, we visited them today as the Poppies are due to be re-united with their owners this month. You can dedicate a Poppy to celebrate anyone special to you, or simply in recognition of the hundreds of people cared for at Nightingale House Hospice, for a payment of £25.00. A limited number of Poppies are available and each Certificate will show the number that has been allocated to your Poppy.
Like their sunflowers last year, Nightingale House’s Poppies have been custom made by the British Ironwork Centre so the quality craftsmanship of each flower means they can sit outside in your garden as a lasting keepsake for many years to come. Each Poppy will have a narrow hollow stem allowing you to place a small scroll with your loved one’s name on or a photograph of your loved one or other such memento.
The Poppies were displayed on the West Front at the National Trust’s ERDDIG HALL, from 1st June – 17th July 2020. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Nightingale House, and National Trust at Erddig, a beautiful stately home within our community which acted as a glorious backdrop for the display. Erddig’s walled garden is one of the most important surviving 18th century formal gardens in Britain. Nightingale House are working with the National Trust to explore how they can use special places in their care to support our patients and their families, from bespoke visits to accessing quiet spaces for reflection.
Memories made or still to be made make life so special for each of us and the simple act of celebrating is something to be treasured.
