Computer Science Teacher – Oswestry £120 – £170 pd
Excell Supply are looking for a creative computing teacher to for an independent secondary school in Oswestry. The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with an average class size of 20 students. This role is a full-time position, starting in February until July. The role could be mad permanent from September depending on the right candidate. You will also be expected to teach key stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.
You will support delivering a curriculum that assists students to become digitally literate – able to use, and express themselves and develop their ideas through, information and communication technology – at a level that is suitable for use in future workplaces, particularly those in the local area of logistics, manufacturing, transport, technology, and pharmaceuticals. These skills include the fundamental knowledge of MS Office Applications as well as those of computational thinking, communication, analytics, problem solving and collaboration.
You must have experience working in a similar role within secondary schools to be considered.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location – Oswestry

· Duration – July 2023, possible permanent role from September

· Minimum rate of pay – £120 per day
· Hours – 8:30AM – 3:30PM Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Relevant teaching qualification
· Previous experience working in a school

· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
