Look no further, we are seeking a talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the schools dynamic team in Newtown
• Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
•Assist with the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and support as required. • Lead small group activities, delivering targeted interventions to support students’ individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student well-being and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student development.
• Support students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, implementing individualised strategies and accommodations.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Experience in delivering interventions and supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other support staff.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students.
