Job Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Welshpool
Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:45am – 15:15pm)
Pay: £11.41 – £12.50 per hour (Depending on age, experience and qualifications)

We at Excell Supply are currently recruiting for excellent teaching assistants (TA’s) to work within Primary Schools across Welshpool and surrounding areas. We have immediate employment opportunities for day-to-day supply which can be built up to full time work or part time work depending on how flexible you wish to be. We also offer long-term positions with the potential of developing into permanent roles.
We welcome applicants with a relevant qualification, however applications will be considered from people who have experience of working with children, either in the classroom or a nursery setting.
Responsibilities and requirements :-
Supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing.
Giving extra help to children with ALN or those for whom English is not their first language.
Motivating and encouraging pupils as well as assisting with marking and correcting work.
Helping with school events, trips, and activities.
Excellent behaviour management skills
Transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring and helpful.
