In the latest edition of ‘One of Our Own’, we introduce Helen Taylor.
Helen, a lifelong learner, fitness fanatic, global traveller and qualified teacher with Excell, provides an insight into another aspect of the work Excell perform: home tuition for Wrexham students who are unable to attend school due to mid- to long-term illness. Working in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, our small team of home tutors provide a vital service in keeping young people on track and in touch with learning. As Helen states with eloquence, the home tutor becomes “the sole guardian of a child’s education.”
